Growing a small business

If you hear a distant “Woohoo!” coming from the direction of Nostell, it will be me welcoming two new members to HomeLife’s team. Any small business owner would agree with me that growing a business is a perfect cocktail of excitement and fear: you’re brain is alive with ideas of progression, but you find yourself awake in the night getting tied up thinking through the detail. Sometimes the answer can only be found in expanding the team, sharing the load and benefiting from others’ skills and capacity. It’s a glorious leap of faith and one that HomeLife is ready to take. We are fortunate that our clients return to us and spread the word to bring new faces through our door which means our new team members can’t start soon enough. We welcome two fabulous ladies who will be positive advocates of the HomeLife brand and maintain the strong client relationship we have built over the last three years.

Rachel (Yes, another one.)

Why have one, when you can have two. We are delighted to welcome Rachel Spiers (CeMAP) as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser. She comes to HomeLife with experience in the financial sector, managing her own clients and ensuring their mortgage and protection needs are met from first appointment to completion. Rachel is excited to join the HomeLife team and continue to develop her skills as a broker.

Kathryn (She’s back.)

My sister returns to HomeLife! Kathryn will be providing valuable administrative and marketing support, and anything else that the day to day running of a broker firm brings about. Her English teacher background and time spent working in education means she brings that creative energy. Combined with her CeMAP qualifications and experience as a Mortgage and Protection Broker, she is perfectly positioned to bring her varied knowledge and skills to our finance team.
